We welcome new students into the Sixth Form at the beginning of Year 12.

 

Plumstead Manor School deals directly with applications for our Sixth Form. 

 

We are keen to meet motivated and committed young men and women who are eager to do well and who will contribute fully to the life of the school.

 

Our general entry requirements are 5 A*-C grades at GCSE including either Mathsor English.  Students without these grades will be required to resit the course in Year 12.

 

Our Sixth Form admission process involves online completion of our school admission form and interviews with the Heads of Plumstead Manor Sixth Form and relevant Heads of Departments. We will also write to request a reference, latest report and predicted GCSE grades from your child's current school. If we are then able to offer a place, this would be conditional upon your child gaining five or more C and above GCSE grades, including English and Mathematics. Please note that he/she must gain A or B grades in their chosen AS subjects.

 

The acceptance of the conditional offer must be confirmed as soon as possible.  On GCSE results day, your child will need to come in to our Sixth Form to show their results in order to confirm mand secure their place at Plumstead Manor Sixth Form.

 

We will invite your child to come along to one of our Sixth Form Taster Day events, held each summer term, which would give your son or daughter a valuable insight into life as a Plumstead Manor Sixth Former, through attendance of year 12 lessons and meeting our staff and current students.
